THE ATELIER
SOLEIL was founded in 2021 by Camille Voss, a former pattern-cutter at a major Parisian house who decided she was done making clothes for other people's vision.
The studio occupies a salmon-pink atelier in the 10th arrondissement and produces just two collections per year, each consisting of fewer than thirty garments.
Every piece is hand-finished. Zips are never exposed. Hems are always double-turned.
Joy is not frivolous. Joy is the whole point.
THE GRIMOIRE
Four
Shadows
Darkness is the canvas.
We dress the in-between: midnight and dusk, the hour when light relinquishes its claim. SOLEIL pieces belong to transitional light.
Whimsy survives grief.
Gothic is not the absence of joy. It is joy that has survived something. Our silhouettes carry levity and weight simultaneously — deliberately.
Gold against shadow.
Opulence belongs to the night. Candlelight, gilded embroidery, amber — these are not daytime pleasures. They reveal themselves slowly, in darkness.
Celestial imprecision.
The stars do not ask permission to be beautiful. SOLEIL does not seek approval from trend. We orbit our own fixed point — the ever-becoming.
