THE STUDIO
VESPER was born in a converted factory in Prenzlauer Berg, where industrial geometry meets the quiet severity of Bauhaus principle.
Founded by Mira Hoffmann in 2019, the studio treats garments as architectural propositions — each piece a study in tension, weight, and negative space.
Every collection is produced in edition runs of no more than forty pieces. No exceptions.
We don't make clothes. We make decisions.
MANIFESTO / 04
FOUR
DECISIONS
(no exceptions)
Structure before silhouette.
Every garment begins with an architectural problem: how shall this body inhabit this volume? Aesthetics emerge from solution, not from style.
Weight is honesty.
We do not lighten what should be heavy. Boiled wool, cast brass, dense linen — material declares itself in its mass.
Forty pieces. Then nothing.
Every edition closes at forty. There is no restocking, no second run, no compromise of scarcity for revenue.
Silence is a finish.
We remove what does not need to be there: branding, ornament, the conversation a garment has with the eye. What remains, speaks.
